Frequently Asked Questions
What is an indoor marquee?
An indoor marquee uses fabric drapes to create a customizable, elegant indoor venue transformation for events, with the effect of a lined marquee.
Do you fix the indoor marquee to the walls?
No. All of our work is either fitted to our custom free-standing framework, or to existing fixings using wires. We don't use screws, nails or anything else that will damage the venue.
How customizable is the design?
We use white material for the drapes, and we can introduce your theme colours with additional details like swagging, bunting or curtain effects. We can also add uplighters and fairly lights to make your effect unique to you.
Full setup and removal are included as part of the service. We prefer to setup the day before the event and collect the day after. If you have a tight timescale, just let us know and we'll see what we can do to help.
Is setup included?
How long does installation take?
Installation can take from 2-6 hours, depending on size and complexity. We prefer to dress venues the day before the event to make sure we are out of the way well before your guests start to arrive.
How much does an indoor marquee cost to hire?
Usually between £1,100 - 2,000, depending on the size of the room and any extras like swags and lights.
Can you install an indoor marquee in part of a large hall?
Yes. We have previously used indoor marquees in large sports halls where the event organiser is only using part of the hall.
Do I have to have the walls fully draped?
No. We can leave gaps for bars and entryways, and we always leave gaps at fire exits. There is also the option to have only the ceiling draped if you just want to reduce the height of a room or cover up an ugly ceiling.
What sizes are available?
Unlike regular marquees, our equipment is fully flexible, so we can create an indoor marquee effect that uses the full space of the room, and we can work with much lower ceiling heights.
Is the material fire-retardant
Yes. All of our material is fire-retardant, an we can provide certification to the venue if needed.
Do you need to see the venue before providing a quote?
Usually, yes. We prefer to see the venue and fully plan the job before accepting any work. Exceptions can be made at venues we have dressed before.
